Hey everyone, still alive and kicking. Havent worked on an animation for a day or a month. I have alot more other concerns. Mainly life but I dont want to get into that. It's nothing serious its just shit that takes up alot of my motivation and time. It's been a really rocky road but I hope to someday at least post one animation here someday.
I dont necessarily want to give anyone false hopes because ive said constantly "Hey guys! I promise im working on an animation I swear!" when really im not. But one thing I promise. One day. ONE DAY I will finally finish an animation. Or maybe one month or one year or one decade. I dont know.
What I do know is that I have many great ideas that I wish to present and showcase to the world but I simply just dont have the time to do it. Animation takes time and thats just the facts. Sometime it takes way too much time.
Two ideas I have in mind is a redo of the Wendigo animation with him against zombies along side his gal-cheshire-cat-sidekick Katskil with them digging up an ongoing conflict between their land (in control of a paranormal society called the Visus Silvus) and Nexus Corp. I want to figure out how to use Blender to create consistent terrains and environments but im not sure I can do that in the timespan before Madness Day 2024. So I might have to skip that for the other animation as follows:
Another idea I had was a TF2 Halloween GMOD animation as a comedic retelling of The Headless Horseman. But instead of The Headless Horseman I was envisioning it'd be "Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner". And yes its the same guy portraited in the Warron Zevon track that also goes by the same name. I inspired it off the Disney animation "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad". I still have yet to write the script and stuff for it. But it essentially follows the same plot as the movie and tale, just in a silly GMOD animation. I plan to get that finished before Halloween this year.
However there exists a dilemma in these choices. Do I work on an animation for the chance to be seen in Madness Day 2024, or do I shelf that and instead work on my first GMOD animation? Time will tell I guess. Im not sure.
As you can see. I have a lot in mind but I dont have the exact timeframe to enact on these ideas. One thing for certain, I do hope that I can one day at least see one of these be finished.
That's all for now. Again, sorry you dont see much from me anymore. But i'll be back. Trust me on that.
